The Family Friend

In The Family Friend by Claire Douglas, Imogen unexpectedly inherits a country mansion near Bath from reclusive artist Dorothea Roe, whom she last saw sixteen years ago during a tragic summer. As Imogen and her partner Josh move into the house, she discovers a mysterious box in the studio that suggests Dorothea's death was no accident and links the tragedy to Imogen's own dark family history.
